The Colorado Plateau consists of mountains, plateaus, rivers, and canyons. Four corners of the states, Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico, are part of the Colorado Plateau. The arid climate here has caused for sparse vegetation and the streams have eroded the land leaving bare rock behind. One of the mos well known place in this region is the Grand Canyon.
